  1. What is AddressBook 1.3

  3. AddressBook is an address manager for Windows 3.1, designed especially for home use.

  5. A short summary of the features:
  6. - Uses the CSV file format.
  7. - Unlimited number of records (=addresses) per book. 
  8. - User can define field names, types and lengths.
  9. - Fast look-up table for each field.
  10. - Supports several adjustable printing methods.
  11. - Print preview on the screen for all print functions.
  12. - Extensive search facility.
  13. - Records are automatically sorted after input.
  14. - File association is supported.
  15. - You can create several address books, each with their own setup.

  17. Installation
  18. ============
  19. 1.  Copy ADRBK13.EXE and ADRBK-US.HLP to a subdirectory, e.g. C:\adrbk.

  21. 2.  Install AddressBook with Program Manager.
  22.  
  23. Select a programgroup. Choose "File | New | Program Item". Use "Browse..." to 
  24. select the directory, to which you copied the program, and then to select 
  25. adrbk13.exe, or type at "Command Line": adrbk13.exe and as "Working Directory": 
  26. the name of the directory to which you copied AddressBook.
